Terms of Use
Agreement and permitted use
By using Luudwood Ledger, you agree to these Terms of Use. You receive a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the app for lawful record organization. You must not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, misuse another person’s information or use the app unlawfully.
A record organizer, not professional advice
Verify every amount, tax treatment, category, province and report against your original records before filing or giving the information to an accountant. Scans, suggestions and calculations can be wrong. Luudwood Ledger organizes records; it does not file returns or provide accounting, legal or tax advice.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your records, selecting the correct tax jurisdiction and treatment, keeping original supporting documents where required, correcting scan errors, protecting access credentials and deciding what to file. Consult a qualified accountant, tax professional or lawyer for advice about your circumstances.
Automated results and tax information
Receipt recognition, duplicate warnings, categories, location suggestions, tax tables, calculations and report totals are aids and may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. A missing warning does not prove an entry is unique or accurate. Tax rates and rules can change and can depend on the item, seller, place of supply, registration status and other facts the app cannot determine.
Data, backups and exports
Keep independent copies of important records. Device loss, deletion, software errors, unavailable services or an incorrect recovery code can cause data loss. Optional backup does not currently upload receipt-photo files. Review every export before relying on it or sending it to another person.
Third-party services
Some features depend on Apple, OCR.space, Cloudflare, Etsy and other services. Their availability and terms are outside Luudwood’s control. Use of those features may be subject to the provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Ownership and feedback
Luudwood Ledger, its design and original software are owned by Luudwood or its licensors. Your records remain yours. You represent that you have the right to process and share the material you place in the app. Feedback may be used to improve the app without an obligation to compensate you.
Availability and changes
The app may be corrected, updated, suspended or discontinued. Features and supported tax information may change. Luudwood does not promise uninterrupted operation or that every receipt format, tax rule or device will be supported.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available without guarantees that it will be error-free or fit for a particular filing or accounting purpose. Luudwood is not responsible for decisions made from unverified app output, lost tax benefits, penalties caused by incorrect user records, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that applicable consumer law does not allow to be excluded.
Suspension, termination and changes to terms
You may stop using the app at any time. Luudwood may restrict service access when reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use or protection of the service. These terms may be updated as the app changes; the effective date will be revised and material changes will be presented in the app or release notes. Questions may be sent through the support contact on the Luudwood Ledger App Store page.
